After Blizzard Diablo II in 2000 and its expansion, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction in 2001, the company has continued to release games for the world of Warcraft for the next seven years. Blizzard broke that streak with the release of StarCraft II, which included many familiar characters as well as some new ones.

It is normal for a direct sequel to have new characters, so it would be wise for Diablo III to have new characters as well. Similar to the period between the date of release of Diablo I and II of Diablo, Diablo III is set several years after the events of Diablo II and it is what explains why the new heroes need to take responsibility by browsing the world of sanctuary and to overcome the problems at hand. Once you start the game for the first time, you can choose one of five character types.

Witch doctor

Many Diablo II players loved the Necromancer class but the living-dead Summoner is not available as a playable character.

But players who like the idea of having "pets" fighting alongside them will be the witch doctor is a very attractive class.In the first parts of the game you will be throwing spiders on enemies and summoning the zombie dogs to help you.

Unlike Necromancers, witch will not overwrite enemies in large numbers is your task to let the invoked creatures to take care of melee attacks as long as the addition of some spells of remote support. Monk

Barbarian

The barbarian is the only playable class back in Diablo III, but the character still smells new as there are a few new active skills to try.
